The Survival Pact releases February 17, 2017 from CHBB Publishing.
Three friends. One promise. One goal. Survive.
Kami thought she'd seen it all as a small time reporter for a New York Paper, but after hearing reports of the dead crawling from graves and attacking humans, she realized the world she once knew would never be the same again. Forced to flee the city, she heads south where her two best friends Emma and Lou reside in search of answers. As a drunken joke ten years earlier, the three friends made a vow that if the world went to hell they’d survive it together, no matter what. With the pact now a reality, they are forced to face a never ending tidal wave of the dead, tornadoes, earthquakes, and massive storms with hundreds of miles to go. Along with their new dog, Snack, the girls get closer to their destination but no closer to answers as to why their world is filled with such evil. Will their plan of survival keep them alive or will they drown in the sea of the dead?

Dust It Off Bloghop: Excerpt
I'm
back with the second day of Theresa
Paolo and Cortney
Pearson's three part Dust
It Off Bloghop.
Before
I share my excerpt, I'd like to thank everyone who read and commented
on Thursday's
post. The positive response Kyra
and I have gotten has been overwhelming, and we're now giving serious
consideration to reviving the story.
For
those of you who were wondering, Kyra and I wrote a character each.
Kyra wrote Tori, and I wrote Caitlin, and we alternated a chapter
each.
Now
without further ado, onto today's post.
Post
your favorite excerpt (300-350 words)
For my
excerpt I've gone with a girly moment between Tori and Caitlin.
Enjoy!

Dust It Off Bloghop: Pitch
I'm
here today with the first post in Theresa
Paolo and Cortney
Pearson's three part DustIt Off Bloghop.
The
aim of the bloghop is to talk about a shelved manuscript, that for
one reason or another has been put on the back burner.
I
have the honour of doing this bloghop with one of my close friends,
Kyra Lennon. Kyra and
I started work on this story back in 2006, and wrote nine chapters,
before other projects, real life, and a whole heap of other stuff got
in the way.
Now
we're "dusting it off" for this bloghop. After that, who
knows what the future holds for this manuscript?
The
idea of today's post is to write a 1-2 sentence pitch (Great way to
practice pitches) about the shelved WIP.
Here
is what Kyra and I came up with for ours:
For
best friends Caitlin and Tori, their first acting job out of Uni
opens up a whole new world for them – unfortunately, it wasn’t
the world they were expecting. When the strains of adult life and
tangled relationships threaten to ruin their friendship, they are
forced to take a look at what’s really important.
