Festive Fun!

I had a wonderful holiday period, and was utterly spoiled as you can see from the image above!

The holidays are always busy for us, as Youngest's birthday is a few days before, plus with various visits, it can get quite hectic.

This year, Oldest and their partner came down the weekend before Christmas. We had a look around the shops, while Youngest was seeing Sonic 3 with their bestie, and then went out for a lovely steak meal at a local pub. I enjoyed it so much, I want to go back for my birthday.

Me, Hubby and Youngest had Christmas early on the 24th. We opened our presents, and had an amazing roast beef meal, with plenty of leftovers. Then, on the 25th, we went to my mum's. My youngest sister was there, and it was great catching up with her, and of course, my step-dad.

New Year was totally low-key. Hubby and I spent the day binge-watching the new series of Squid Games, and we ordered Indian takeaway for dinner. We were in bed before midnight! lol

Misc. News

After a lot of consideration, I have decided that the Book Lovers in Birmingham event in April isn't financially viable for me, and I won't be attending. I wish the host and all attending authors the very best.

As I'm re-establishing my brand this year, I've decided to focus on small events in my local area for the time being, and I will be reaching out to bookstores, libraries etc. soon. If I arrange something, I'll announce all the details here!

My website has had a little bit of a polish, and I've divided my books into four sections - 'Series', 'Standalones', 'Anthologies', and 'Backlist'. I hope this makes it easier for readers to navigate my books. This update includes pages for all my planned 2025 releases, so be sure to check them out to know what's coming from me this year.

That's all I have for you for now. I'll be back soon with some BookFunnel Swaps, and of course, more bookish news.

Until then,

Stay creative!
