Street Teams and Snippets

Happy Monday, all!

Wanted a quick opinion ... I know street teams are becoming increasingly popular as a marketing tool for authors.

I was thinking of starting my own (and possibly a newsletter), but would it be frowned upon (and would people even want to join?) as I'm publishing a serial? I'd still give sneak peeks, freebies etc. so it'd be pretty similar, and I wouldn't be forcing anyone to join or asking for money.

What do you think?

Speaking of street teams, the lovely Krya Lennnon is currently accepting applications for her street team. You all know you want sneak peeks at Game On Book Four, so go on, sign up.

Speaking of Kyra, she's recently made some great promo graphics for Game On. check out this awesome contemporary-romance if you haven't already, and feel free to share the graphic.

Have you met Radleigh McCoy yet? Check out Game On by Kyra Lennon to meet the sexy soccer star for yourself!

And if you're in a sharing mood, please feel free to share my latest promo graphic, too!

All It Takes is a dual-POV new-adult, contemporary-romance about responsibility, love and discovering who you are in life. Chapter one coming 01.21.15. Visit bit.ly/All-It-Takes for details!

  1. I don't think a newsletter would be a waste. Everyone says an author should have one. Yeah, I know - I don't.

  2. I'm seeing more street teams around. It's always handy to have help with promoting in any way possible.

  3. I don't have a newsletter either because I hardly read the ones I get. Street teams are growing in popularity and if you think it works for you Clare, go for it. Kyra's quote almost made me laugh. What would he do indeed. Yours is really steamy Clare. Someone's getting lucky right in the first chapter. Or close to if something happens.
