Making her way to the ring, weighing in at 50k words, hailing from West Midlands, England ... Clare "the writer" Dugmore.
You can tell I'm a wrestling fan, can't you?
Okay, now I've gotten that out of my system, onto the actual point of this post. Thanks to Kyra Lennon I became aware that DL Hammons is hosting a knockout style writing battle royal.
The concept is pretty simple. People anonymously submit a 500 word piece, DL Hammons pits two entries against each other, everyone votes on their favourite. The winner goes onto the playoffs, until one final winner is picked. The final winner is chosen by industry professionals, including agents, editors, published authors, and last years WRiTE CLUB winner.
Sounds awesome, right?
So get over there, lace up you boots, put on your ring gear and enter WRiTE CLUB ... because we all want to
Pahaha! Excellent intro - and apparently we have wrestling on the brain at the moment! :D
