Earth has lost its battle against the Solcrue, even with the help of their finest creations: CyberTitans. The last of the human resistance is counting on Cara to rescue one specific unit: a Relic. Amp: I hate being locked in my cave unable to communicate beyond the confined walls of the decommissioning plant. Few of my brothers and sisters survived the Solcrue's forces. We fought beside the earthlings who designed us. We were promised mates if we won. But the war was lost before we were made. A lucky few are scattered among the stars. The rest of us sort the remains of ships until the Solcrue wish to permanently end our suffering.
Cara: I've studied the angles of his angry face for nearly a year yet never noticed the vulnerability in his eyes until he stared down at me as he does now. No earth man could compare in height, musculature, or how he makes me want to touch him and know exactly what is metal and what is flesh.
Amp: My ultro motor races at the first glimpse, but she’s dressed as a Solcrue decommissioner. Mother Besha always told us we could learn to love someday, that we would know our mates the moment we laid eyes on them. But I cannot comprehend what I’m seeing. It can’t be her, and yet I can’t help but crave a taste of her lips. I need her like I need out of this place.

I thought the only good alien was a dead one. Those Pig Faces and Tooth Fairies razed human civilization and forced us underground a couple hundred years ago. I'd still be there, except my mother told us we had to flee the compound for our very lives. My brothers and I figure we'll hide out or maybe find other survivors band together to kick some alien butt. Until the first thing we see are a squad of pink, fanged Tooth Fairies waiting for us with ray guns at the ready.

When the humans asked me to check out what looked like yet another historical underground bunker site, I felt it was a waste of time. They are always either empty, or filled with the dead, and nearly always in serious disrepair. In the early days, the bunkers also housed dissidents who attacked us and any humans they found fighting by our side, thinking we were the aggressors rather than those who came to save their world. As a result, by treaty, we had the responsibility to make sure these were safe to enter. I never expected to find my mate ready to attack me, along with two other males. There was no mistake. As a Paethian Warrior, there were physical signs that begin to manifest almost immediately upon coming across the one to whom we are fated.
This is an enemies to lovers, alien warrior, fated mates romance with a HEA.

Promo Help Wanted for Beyond Starlight: An Alien Fated Mates Limited Edition Box Set
While I've been *vague* about my publishing plans over the last few weeks, the wheels are moving so it's time to talk a little more about what I've been working on.
As some of you may recall, I was serializing a paranormal romance called WINGS, WITCHES AND WONDER, but I felt the first draft wasn't quite where I wanted it to be, so I pulled it from Ream and other platforms.
At the same time, I heard of Beyond Starlight: An Alien Fated Mates Limited Edition Box Set brought to you by Storyteller Publisher 22, and knew with a little tweaking, the story I wanted to tell in WINGS, WITCHES AND WONDER would work perfectly for a sci-fi romance. Thus THE STARLIGHT PRINCE was born.
The first 30k * of THE STARLIGHT PRINCE will be released on November 19th, as part of the Beyond Starlight: An Alien Fated Mates Limited Edition Box Set.
*More news on the remaining ~60k of THE STARLIGHT PRINCE will be coming in due course.

NaNoWrimo 2019
I did start my own mini-NaNoWriMo back in September. I managed about 10k, before life and such got in the way, so I want to give it another crack for the official NaNoWriMo. Only with a different story. I do like the story I started in September, but I like this story more, and I'm hoping to be able to complete it in November. Fingers crossed.
